Volunteers
Art in the Square is made possible by the efforts of a wonderful team of volunteers that have a real love for the Highland Square neighborhood. Planning for the event begins casually in January and becomes more intense as the event draws nearer. When the day of the event arrives, we are always excited and amazed to see how it all comes together. This event is a celebration of what makes our neighborhood great: good people, wonderful talent, and a laid back attitude.
In addition to the Steering Committee, countless others have volunteered their time, talent, and equipment to make this event possible. All of the music, performances, and workshops throughout the day are put on by bands and people that are volunteering their time. All of the sound systems have been donated for the event. Every stage, every trashcan, every chair, and everything else has been set up by volunteers. The Steering Committee wishes to express its sincere gratitude for those that have made this year's event possible. We know that you love the Square as much as we do.
