Music & Performers

Art in the Square has become known for great, live, original music across many diverse styles. This year there will be so many bands and performers that you won't be able to see them all. All of the performers have donated their time, so we encourage you to give them a big "Thank you!" by picking up some of their wares at the event.

New this year: Adding to the great variety of the day, the acting troupes from Coach House Theatre, the Weathervane Playhouse, Ohio Shakespeare Festival, and Miller South Commedia will be entertaining with performances throughout the day.

Sound production across the entire event is generously donated by Clear Gold Audio & Lighting. We cannot say enough good things about these guys. Simply amazing!



Buzzbin Stage

Sunflower Solutions Solar Stage

Art in the Square 2010 features Akron's first solar powered festival stage! It will be powered by a revoltionary sun tracking  system donated by Sunflower Solutions. The solar stage will located between the library and Chipotle. Sponsored by Sunflower Solutions, Revival & Ray's Pub.
